FedEx Express Named North America’s Best Air Freight

FedEx Express (FedEx), a subsidiary of FedEx Corporation has just been awarded the Best Air Cargo Company in North America at the 28th Asia Shipping and Supply Chain Services (AFSCAs) Awards ceremony announced in Shanghai, China. FedEx Corporation has won the prize 11 times since 2002.
The annual AFSCAs awards, organized by the trade magazine Cargonews Asia, are one of the most prestigious awards in the logistics and supply chain industry in Asia. This award is given for leadership, consistent service quality, creativity, reliability, and customer relationship management.
In 2013, FedEx introduced a series of new initiatives and improvements to increase operational efficiency and flexibility in providing best-in-class services to customers in the Asia-Pacific region such as the expansion of its hub at Beijing Capital International Airport; Launching the first zero-emissions electric vehicle fleet in Asia/TBD; applying many new and modern technologies in the markets of Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam to better serve customers…
